Welcome to the History of Group Six.

All of western Pennsylvania was under one geographical area known as Group One. As the membership of the squadrons
continued to grow it became apparent for the need to improve the management of such a large geographical area. Thus the
the Pennsylvania Wing decided to split Group One into two separate Groups based on North-South boundaries.
The new defining Southern border of Group One, for the most part is Route 422.

Then 1Lt Gary Fleming, Commander of the Mercer County Squadron was recommended and approved.
