Students will be instructed in, woodsmanship skills, search techniques & operations, crashsite procedures, navigation & map reading, equipment, team mobility, and survival skills; including killing and preparation of small wild game, which will be taught and practiced. Other classes include moral leadership, character development, casualty evacuation, and rappelling. Search and Rescue skills will practiced during several search simulations. A three-day field training exercise is conducted away from base camp. This exercise will include extensive hiking with full equipment. Students will progress through the Ranger 3rd and 2nd Class levels as team members. Course Fee $125.00
