Special Advanced Course "Echo"

WHAT IS SQUADRON ECHO?

The Special Advanced Course exposes Cadets and Officers (Senior Members) to the Expert Ranger level of search, rescue, woodsmanship, team leadership, and survival.   Most subjects are tailored to the students' needs and taught on a one-on-one basis by experienced instructors.  Training will largely take place during a 5+ day field exercise, stressing the development of individual skills. Squadron Echo will spend very little time in the vicinity of base camp.  This course requires participants to possess a high degree of motivation and strong self-confidence with no physical limitations. All students must be capable of performing advanced tasks under heavy physical and mental stress. There will be an interview and physical fitness test given by our staff prior to placement in this course.

The prerequisites for this course include Ranger 1st Class or higher rating, and successfully completion an Advanced Ranger Course.

Special Advanced Course Fee: $160.00
