Interested in attending the FIELD MEDIC COURSE?
Prerequisites:
What you do not need:
This is a very fast-paced
course. Training starts on Day 1 of the school and ends after all other
squadrons have completed their curriculums. There is little or no time to do
FA/CPR/Ranger skills that should have been done beforehand.
If you are lacking tasks for R1
you might want to consider coming to weekend at Hawk to square some of these
away. Dates of Hawk events are found on the HMRS homepage at:
pawingcap.com/hawk/events.html
Or find someone with R/Adv or R/Ex
ratings in your home wing. You may be required to sacrifice significant time
and money to prepare for Squadron Mike. Nothing good comes easily. There are
no exceptions to the valid CPR/FA rule. It simply isn't fair to the other
students to devote our limited training time to tutoring those who lack
something so simple. Contact your local Red Cross or American Heart
Association chapters for these classes.
Feel free to contact
Ranger Staff
if you
have any questions regarding this course.
