Overhead Team Management Course Advanced Seniors (officers) and Cadets 18 or older may take this course. It provides instruction in the management of missions at the level of Ground Branch Director. Students must have thorough knowledge of all aspects of SAR as they will be managing entire missions comprised of many teams with many different specialties, sometimes from other organizations. Students will develop an in depth understanding of the Incident Command System through practical experience. Students will learn how to effectively plan a search using their knowledge of search techniques & theory and advanced navigation. In addition to this, students will learn how to complete mission paperwork and use the online qualification system. Seniors (officers) wishing to take this course must have satisfactorily completed the Senior (Officer) Basic Course or be a GTL, and Cadets over 18 wishing to take this course must have satisfactorily completed the Cadet Advanced Course. Overhead Team Management Course Fee: $325.00 primitive lodging (Remember, this is Hawk Mountain).
