Abbreviated Ranger Program Coordinator Curriculum

The 9 day course is 12-20 July 2008

6 day course July 15-20 w/travel day of July 15

Hawk Mt Ranger School invites you to attend our first Ranger Coordinator Course.  This course has been developed to introduce the command staff of Civil Air Patrol to the school curriculum and operations. This course provides National, Region and Wing Commanders and their designated members an orientation/overview of the Ranger program.  It provides attendees with personal knowledge and experience of ground SAR through hands-on experience of the training required for ground based operations of SAR missions as well as the HMRS curriculum and operations.

The training received at HMRS is different from that of any other school in CAP.  While the majority of training at most schools takes place in classrooms, here you will learn by doing all of the tasks.  Students spend the duration of the school outside under mission conditions.  They will participate in a one day field training exercise testing all acquired skills along with endurance.

 Ranger Program Coordinator Course
