LL Shoulder Insignia

The insignia worn by all students who complete the Hawk Mountain Ranger Training School. In PA this insignia can be worn on the BDU left sleeve, centered, one half inch down from the shoulder seem in place of the PA Wing Insignia.  In other Wings it can be worn centered on the right BDU pocket.

Reflective or non-reflective self-adhesive stickers are available.  The LL Reflective Decal can be worn on the orange hard hat.

Ranger Staff Rocker

Authorized for wear only by Civil Air Patrol Members who have completed all the requirements outlined in the Ranger Staff Program. This insignia is worn below the LL Insignia.

Keystones

All staff at the Hawk Mountain Ranger School wear a keystone centered on the orange hat.  Red Keystones indicate permanent staff positions, while the Black Keystone signifies the grade of Expert Ranger.  (Ranger Staff Uniform items are only to be worn while serving as staff at Ranger events.  Not at Squadron meetings)

These are only to be worn by CAP members who have earned these ratings on their BDU Uniform centered above the Civil Air Patrol tape.

Expert Ranger, Instructor, Advanced Ranger, Ranger 1^st Class, Ranger 2^nd Class and Ranger 3^rd Class.
